Kathy joined Joe with the business in 1982 before they were married. The business has been evolving over the last 28 years into one of the largest cash and carry chemical businesses in the country. "Just when you think you've seen everything, 2008 has been an especially challenging year with high prices and shortages," said Joe Sims. "Regardless we will continue to do what it takes to protect the bottom line for producers," he added. Kathy & Joe Sims       Katie Lix & Maria Hyde Katie Lix, youngest daughter of Joe & Kathy Sims, is the Payroll Manager at Sims. A graduate of Barton County Community College (1999) and K-State (2001). Brett and Katie are very excited to announce that they had their first baby in June, a little girl named Georgia Jo. Katie is available for all your chemical questions.         Ronda Roach Samantha Conway Ronda Roach has been involved with farming in Osborne County all of her life. Ronda is the Fertilizer Manager at Sims and also helps with the secretarial duties and deals with pricing fertilizer. Ronda is an excellent musician and you will often find her singing and playing the guitar in church.     Samantha Conway, is responsible for routing all the delivery trucks. This is a major task that Samantha excels in, so if you're needing chemical give Samantha a call. [note: sweet-talking Samantha will insure quicker delivery]. Samantha lives in Alton with her husband, Shane and daughter, Kirstin.     Raelynn Emerson Raelynn Emerson, an Osborne native, joined the Sims team in August.  Raelynn attended Cloud County Community College and Fort Hays State University before coming back to Osbone.  Raelynn has a 2 year old daughter, Rylan.       Christy Harold & Mike Delaney Brett Lix & Jeremey Garman Mike Delaney, the youngest son of Joe & Kathy Sims, is the warehouse manager. He is a valuable asset to the business because he has been involved with it ever since he can remember. Mike oversees the three warehouses, along with managing pump and equipment sales and service. If you pick up your chemical in Osborne you more than likely will have Mike loading your chemical at the dock.   Brett Lix, Katie's husband, joined the Sims family in August 2002. Brett attended Garden City Coummunity College and K-State. He especially enjoys delivering to his old stomping grounds....Southwest Kansas.   Jeremey Garman, is the newest addition to our family and brings his trucking expertise to the Sims fleet. Jeremey is a 1995 graduate of Jewell High School and attended North Central Vo-Tech in Beloit.     Paul Roach     Paul Roach, raised on a farm near Alton, went to college at Hays and Beloit and graduated with an Auto Technology degree. Paul also helps with the warehouse duties and deliveries.             Ryan Delaney - Ryan, one of Joe and Kathy's sons, has been helping out for many years. Ryan usually works warehouse maintenance and helps farmers with pumps, shuttles, and repairs. Ryan also works in the office dealing with our suppliers to get you the lowest prices possible!
